Short bio:
Stephan Steinke is a palaeoceanographer, palaeoclimatologist and micropalaeontologist specializing in past climate change with an emphasis on the mid- and low-latitude climate, particularly in the following areas: South and East Asian monsoon variability and Indo-Pacific Warm Pool hydroclimate. He is currently a Professor at the Department of Geological Oceanography and State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science (MEL), Xiamen University, China.
