Film Title：’Squid Jigging Fishing Boat’ (Cinematographer Yi-bo Lai will attend After-Screening Discussion)

Intro：(115 min Chinese/English subtitle) From December to the next January in each year, over hundred of squid jigging boats leave Chienchen Fishing Port in Kaoshiung and set sail from 120E to 60W. They are heading to the offshore waters of Falkland Islands for Argentine Shortfin Squid (Illex argentinus), which part of everyday live in Taiwan. This tedious voyage, usually takes 35 to 40 days, is nicknamed by sailors as “Sea Route.”
