Congratulations to Ph.D. candidate Yuting Vicky Lin for winning the first prize at the “2022 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (2022 UN SDG)” academic poster competition. With this award, she was selected to represent our university and institute at the recent online event “2022 Global Partners Research Forum” focusing on UN SDG 13: Climate Action.

During this meeting, Yuting introduced her Ph.D. study on the habitat change and its consequences on reef fish specialization in biogeographic transitional zones. The presentations were followed by a group discussion among awardees originating from seven partner universities across the World. They discussed climate change issues and actions to implement for a sustainable future. Yuting’s poster and the ones from other winners of this competition can be viewed and downloaded on the UN SDG Global Partners Network website.
