We seek PostDoc(s) and two college interns(s) to work in a small and energetic group of researchers on topics related to the time series analysis and earth systems.  You will have the opportunity to work on publish-oriented projects with researchers from a diverse background (over the years we have collaborated with geophysicists, geologists, oceanographers, physicists, mathematicians, statisticians, and engineers) from different regions (Asia, American, and Europe).
This group only has 6 researchers and enjoys close-knit relationship while working on challenging topics.   Current projects include: 2D and 3D seismic image processing and interpretation, natural hazard reduction based on realtime monitoring time series, groundwater, time series analysis, and broadband seismic waveform modeling.  Our projects ranging from solid earth to hydrosphere and atmosphere.  The candidates will work on one committed project based on the mutual interests of the candidate and the PI. For interns, no previous working experience is needed, but previous experience on shell scripting and matlab/python/R/C/Fortran programming will be helpful.  We welcome people with background in geophysics, geology, oceanography, atmospheric science,  physics, engineering, math, statistics, and economics to apply.
