In the Western Pacific, a total of 24 BGC-Argo floats have been deployed during the last several years. In this talk, I will show examples of using BGC-Argo floats and coupled physical-biogeochemical models to investigate how synoptical events (typhoons, winter and dust storms) and mesoscale eddies affect upper ocean biogeochemical processes.
