The Institute of Oceanography at National Taiwan University (NTU) invites applications for one tenure-track faculty position in oceanography. The position is open at all levels (assistant, associate, or full professor), depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. The expected earliest starting time for the appointment is August 1, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The applicants must hold a doctoral degree in marine sciences-related fields and have postdoctoral or relevant research experience. Research experience in areas such as phycology, estuarine ecosystems, biodiversity, marine biocarbon sequestration, marine conservation, and artificial intelligence is especially desirable, as is the ability to offer related courses. Interested candidates should submit the following documents via email before December 15, 2024<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Curriculum vitae (including a list of publications).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. PDF reprints of up to three publications within the recent five years (one of which must be designated as the representative paper and published after August 1, 2021).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Proposal for future research and teaching plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Contact information of three referees.
